W Answer to Sam

If the Defendant fails to appear for the first schedule, the Judge will postpone the hearing and schedule a new date.

Meanwhile, the Judge will issue an arrest warrant to summon the Defendant to appear in the next schedule.

If the Defendant still fails to appear again, the Judge will render the judgment in the Defendant’s absence.

If the Defendant is convicted and a sentence is imposed, the Defendant will be apprehended under the issued arrest warrant to enforce the sentence.
