First of all, you should understand that Thai Judges handle a very heavy caseload. In order to proceed for cases efficiently, it is sometimes necessary for them to work under time constraints.
In this matter, the Judge read a summary of the judgment in court so that both the plaintiff and the defendant could be informed of the decision. Nevertheless, the Judge may still need additional time to prepare the full written judgment in detail. For this reason, the parties are not always able to obtain a certified copy of the judgment immediately. They will need to wait a short period of time, which typically takes about 1–2 weeks.
