In this matter, the Judge read a summary of the judgment in court so that both the plaintiff and the defendant could be informed of the decision. Nevertheless, the Judge may still need additional time to prepare the full written judgment in detail. For this reason, the parties are not always able to obtain a certified copy of the judgment immediately. They will need to wait a short period of time, which typically takes about 1–2 weeks.
